Pre-Course Preparation
Pre-Course Preparation Participants will receive pre-course materials, including readings and videos, to build a foundational understanding of Design Thinking concepts before the training begins.
Session 1: Discover Stage
(1) Understanding Challenges: Use empathy interviews and stakeholder mapping to uncover unmet needs in manufacturing and product development.
(2) Sense-Making: Analyze data to identify underlying problems and opportunities for innovation.
Session 2: Define Stage
(1) Persona Development: Create realistic personas that reflect customer and stakeholder needs.
(2) Journey Mapping: Visualize customer and manufacturer journeys to identify critical touchpoints for innovation.
Session 3: Develop Stage
(1) Ideation: Multi-level brainstorming of innovative solutions for manufacturing and product development challenges.
(2) Prioritization: Use tools like the Idea Priority Map to select high-impact solutions.
Session 4: Deliver Stage
(1) Prototyping: Build prototypes and gather user feedback through testing to refi ne your ideas.
(2) Pitching & Feedback: Learn techniques for presenting innovations and gathering constructive feedback.
(3) Further refinement: Continuously gather additional feedback from stakeholders and improve prototypes for better user experience and market readiness.
Follow-Up Session
After the course, participants can access optional consulting sessions to address challenges in implementing Design Thinking techniques within their organizations. Further details will be shared during the training.
Part 4: Course Trainers
