We were honored to conduct Design Thinking workshops for the Good Seed Program 2022, organized by the Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. It is a social innovation training program funded by the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund. The Program aims to unleash the creative potential of young people to drive social innovations for the benefit of the underprivileged (shown below), with Design, Technology and Business as major focuses.

The primary objectives of our workshops were to equip participants with a robust set of innovation techniques and tools, enabling them to excel in their social innovation competition. In addition, we customized tools for participants to effectively collect user experiences and needs during their 10 site visits, known as the “Walk-In-My-Shoes” initiative. This hands-on approach ensured that participants could deeply understand the perspectives and challenges faced by the communities they aim to serve.

Our training team comprised esteemed professionals: David Chung, Inno Man, Paul Lee, Yvonne Chan, Simon Lee, and Yan Choi. Each brought a wealth of experience and expertise, contributing significantly to the success of the program. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with the Good Seed Program and supporting its mission of driving meaningful social change.
