Since 2019, we have been invited to support the “Design Thinking for Innovation and Entrepreneurship” program of VTC Business Discipline, such as teaching staff development, co-leading community development projects, and co-organizing student Hackathon events.

In 2022, we were invited by the Department of Management and Marketing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to co-produce the online learning videos for their program “Introduction to Innovation and Entrepreneurship through Design Thinking”.

To enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship of the management of Hong Kong enterprises amid the pandemic crisis, we developed a 1-hour online self-learning program of Design Thinking for Entrepreneurship and opened the program to the public.

The program includes 4-video (with two case studies) for online self-learning, 10-question self-test for self-evaluation, and 2-sets of Design Thinking tools (Empathy Map and Lean Canvas Map), and 2-example for each Design Thinking tool (for the people who pass the self-test only).

Upon completion of this 1-hour online program, you will be able to:

(1) To know the concept of Design Thinking and 10 common reasons of startups fail

(2) To learn the best practices of Design Thinking through two case studies of world-class startups – Embrace, and Pillpack

(3) To realize two powerful Design Thinking tools (Empathy Map and Lean Canvas Map) for developing innovative products & services

(4) To self-evaluate your degree of understanding through our self-test system
