The Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), in collaboration with the DesignThinkers Academy (DTA), is hosting the “Innovation Jam: A Collaborative Journey in Community Design,” a workshop specifically designed for University Students, Social Workers or Volunteers, and School Teachers.
This workshop aims to explore possibilities for community optimization using the Design Thinking Method. Over two Half-days, participants will conduct field research at the new fabric market in Sham Shui Po and collaboratively develop and propose innovative solutions.
The “Innovation Jam” aims to serve as a platform for multi-stakeholder collaboration, creating preliminary human-centered solutions for sustainable community development. This immersive learning experience not only allows participants to generate ideas for the ongoing enhancement of the Sham Shui Po community but also enables them to learn from real-life cases, applying the Design Thinking Method to solve practical problems.
