InnoEdge Education is proud to announce its role as one of the official supporting organizations for the esteemed 2nd “樂齡『同理』編程設計大賽 2025”. Organized by iREd Solutions Limited and supported by leading institutions, this initiative aims to inspire innovation, empathy, and creativity among students by integrating technology with real-world problem-solving.
The competition has garnered participation from over 100 teams representing more than 40 primary and secondary schools, reflecting its growing influence in the education sector. The event provides a valuable platform for students to showcase their creativity, design thinking, and programming skills by developing innovative solutions tailored to the needs of the elderly.
The Principal of InnoEdge Education, Ms. Tiffany Liu, has been invited to judge during the finale and will also present awards to the winning teams. This underscores our commitment to fostering young talent and supporting meaningful educational initiatives.
About the Competition
The 2nd, “樂齡『同理』編程設計大賽 2025,” focuses on empowering students to develop customized mobile applications for health management, specifically addressing the needs of the elderly. The competition uses MIT App Inventor 2, a block-based programming platform, to help participants create innovative and user-friendly applications.
Participants are challenged to integrate functional components from the iRed Smart Learning Suite: Health Kit and Sport Kit. These tools are designed to encourage active and healthy lifestyles for seniors, focusing on activities that promote health monitoring and physical well-being.
This competition goes beyond technical development, emphasizing empathy-building through user-centric design. Students are encouraged to consider the daily challenges faced by the elderly and develop solutions that improve their quality of life. This approach not only enhances participants’ technical proficiency but also nurtures their understanding of human-centered design principles.
