To help the non-governmental organizations in HK’s Social Welfare sector to develop their organizational capabilities of social welfare service innovations, the members of the InnoEdge Design Thinking training team, Mr. David Chung (Senior Partner of InnoEdge) and Mr. Jimmy Wan (Principal Consultant of InnoEdge), were invited by the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) of City University of Hong Kong to conduct a 1-hour Webinar of “Creating Innovative Momentum for Social Welfare Sector through Design Thinking” on 30 March of 2021.

During the webinar, Mr. David Chung shared the best design thinking practices for developing innovative social welfare services. Mr. Jimmy Wan also shared different case studies of social innovations across Hong Kong and the world.

In addition, Mr. Daniel Choi, Program Manager of the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) of the City University of Hong Kong, explained the academic arrangements of the upcoming CityU-DTA course “Certificate for Module in Design Thinking for Social Innovation”.
