The webinar of Design Thinking for Education – How Empathy in Design Thinking can Unleash the Potential of Our Next Generation (締造同理心教育，為下一代創造無限可能 ) was held on 19 August 2022. The webinar was co-organized by InnoEdge Lab (of InnoEdge Consulting), Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (of Vocational Training Council), and Tak Ngai Family Foundation. There were nearly 100 education professionals registered for the webinar.
There was one international speaker, and were four guest speakers for this webinar. They are Ms. Kiran Bir Sethi (Founder – The Riverside School, Riverside Learning Center, Design For Change, aProch), Dr. Wallace Lam (Academic Director (Business Discipline), of Vocational Training Council and the Principal of Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwun Tong)), Ms. Karen Kwan (Founder, Tak Ngai Family Foundation), Ms. Vian Siu (Science & STEM Coordinator, St. Teresa Secondary School, Science subject coordinator of Flippeducators@HK) and Ms. Jessica Leung (Team Leader of Professional Staff Development Team and Panel Head of BAFS Subject, St. Teresa Secondary School).
The webinar was led by Ms. Tiffany Liu (Senior Consultant, InnoEdge), the master of ceremony was Mr. Simon Lee (Senior Consultant, InnoEdge), and the two exchange sessions were moderated by Ms. Flora Chan (Partner, InnoEdge).
