This interactive course will equip you with the Design Thinking mindset, tools, and skills to kick-start bold innovation. You will be working on a highly interactive learning journey, followed by group work on a challenge under the guidance of our skilled facilitators. After the course, you can apply Design Thinking (DT), product improvement, service innovations, and business transformations.

In today’s highly competitive world, an innovative design of your new initiatives is not enough. You must transform your innovative design into a new product or service to generate revenue. During the 2-day workshop, we will experience 4 major stages from Design to Deployment: Discover users’ unmet, hidden and potential needs, Define business opportunities, Develop new ideas and Deliver business results.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the program, you will be able to

(1) Know the guiding principle, values, and 4-stage execution framework of the Design Thinking Method

(2) Identify the major stakeholder and co-create with them to enhance team and organizational performance

(3) Discover the unmet, hidden and potential market needs and turn them into rewardable opportunities

(4) Use 8 sets of Design Thinking techniques (and tools) to enhance your problem-solving and innovation abilities, such as Stakeholder Map, Design Research, Persona Development, Customer Journey Map, Problem Statement Design, Ideation Methods, WOW Box, and Service Scenario

(5) Develop breakthrough ideas and transfer them into innovative products, services and marketing campaigns
