The roles and abilities of Design Thinking Practitioners and Facilitators are crucial in Driving Organizational Change and Effective Innovation Management. Here’s an enhanced description of their responsibilities and skills:

Design Thinking Practitioners: They lead the creative process of exploring problems and developing innovative solutions. They usually work in teams and support the group through various stages of the design thinking process. Their primary goal is to address user needs with solutions that are technically feasible and viable for the business.

  • Empathy: The ability to understand and share the feelings of others is crucial for the empathize phase to gather meaningful insights.
  • Problem Solving: Skilled in defining clear problem statements and exploring a wide array of solutions.
  • Creativity: Capable of generating innovative ideas that defy standard solutions.
  • Prototyping: Quick and effective in creating prototypes to test ideas and iterate based on feedback.
  • Co-Creation: Excelling in communication to ensure that all voices and perspectives are valued during the innovation process.

Design Thinking Facilitators: They ensure that innovation initiatives and project goals are met efficiently. They organize, coordinate, and manage resources and tasks, keeping the organizational change and innovation project on track through effective facilitation of innovation processes. Their focus is on optimizing the workflow and guiding the team to fulfill innovation objectives on time and within limited resources.

Part 3: Preparation and Follow-Up Sessions for Empowering Facilitator Candidates:

To enhance your preparation, learning, and application of the course material, we will schedule two additional preparatory online meetings before the course begins, as well as two follow-up online meetings after the course completion. The preliminary dates for these meetings are as follows:

14 Feb Evening (1900 to 2000): On-line Preparation Session One [Optional]

28 Feb Evening (1900 to 2000): On-line Preparation Session Two [Optional]

14, 15, and 22 March (Full-day): Face-to-Face Learning and Practice Sessions [Compulsory | A minimum attendance of 80% is required to qualify for certification. ]

11 Apr Evening (1900 to 2000): On-line Follow-up Session One [Optional]

25 Apr Evening (1900 to 2000): On-line Follow-up Session Two [Optional]

Remark: An Online Follow-Up Chart Group will commence at 9:00 AM on March 23 and close at 11:59 PM on May 4.


Commencing in 2024, our educational offerings have been refined by integrating the previously separate Design Thinking Advanced Course and the Facilitation Course into a singular, streamlined 3-day Competence-based Design Thinking Facilitation Course. This newly developed program emphasizes a comprehensive curriculum centered on advanced facilitation methodologies, strategic approaches, and practical execution techniques to enhance the application of Design Thinking principles in various professional settings.
